Jo Linehan, host of the DFS Interiors Theatre

Journalist and sustainability advocate Jo Linehan is our expert host at the DFS Interiors Theatre this Spring. Over the three days of the Show, she will be joined by an array of top industry experts, influential creatives and leading interior designers.

Jo Linehan began her career in journalism as a Junior Editor at IMAGE Magazine in 2011. After five years at the leading fashion and lifestyle publication, she moved to New York to pursue a fashion styling and freelance writing career. On her return in 2016, she co-founded GAFF Interiors, Ireland’s premier online publication, for affordable interior inspiration and advice.

After working with some of the country’s leading fashion, home and lifestyle brands, Jo recognised the incredible waste and disparity the consumer industry perpetuated. Since 2019, Jo has worked extensively to support sustainable brands and initiatives, returning to gain her MSc in Management for Sustainable Development at Dublin City University and launching her independent podcast series, Futurist.

Today, she writes about sustainability for The Sunday Times, Irish Country Magazine and contributes to The Irish Times and Sunday Business Post.

Jo Linehan will host the DFS Interiors Theatre on all three days of the Show. 

Dermot Bannon is the leading voice in modern Irish architectural design.

He is well known for hosting the much-loved RTÉ series ‘Room to Improve’, and has also presented ‘Dermot Bannon’s Incredible Homes’, ‘Dermot Bannon’s Super Spaces’, and ‘Dermot Bannon’s Super Small Spaces’, and the upcoming ‘Celebrity Super Spaces’.

He has his own practice ‘Dermot Bannon Architects’ which was established in 2008 and runs on the belief that good design responds to its surrounding environments and resonates with the soul of a site in order to enhance the daily lives of its inhabitants. The aim is to integrate fun into function, to generate opportunities from site constraints, and to produce designs that are consistently bright and inspiring.

Dermot is also a published author who released his book titled ‘Love your Home: Secrets to a Successful Space’ where he translated his passion for good design to offer readers practical advice, insider tips and solutions for home improvement ensuring the reader will avoid expensive mistakes.

Dermot Bannon will be appearing on the Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan Home Advice Theatre on Friday, 24 th April.

Patricia Power in the DFS Interiors Theatre

Patricia Power is one of Ireland’s most renowned Quantity Surveyors. She has been a major feature on the much-loved TV Show RTE’s Room to Improve.

She was involved in the show for 5 out of the 10 series, and is best known for her straight-talking, no-nonsense approach, continually delivering projects on budget, whilst always considering and preserving the design aspirations by Dermot and the clients.

Award-winning interior designer Arlene McIntyre is the founder of Arlene McIntyre Design and the creative force behind Ventura Interiors. Arlene is known for creating elegant interiors that balance timeless style with modern simplicity. Her design philosophy centres around thoughtful, enduring spaces that feel both sophisticated and welcoming.

Visitors to the PTSB Ideal Home Show can discover Arlene’s Prestige colours and design inspiration at the Prestige by Fleetwood Paints Interior Design Hub, where the range will be showcased alongside expert advice and colour consultations.

Róisín Lafferty is one of Ireland’s most exciting contemporary interior designers Her Dublin-based design studio isrenowned for bold, immersive interiors. Her work is recognised for its creativity, meticulous detailing and confident use of colour, creating spaces that are both distinctive and deeply personal to each client.

At the PTSB Ideal Home Show, visitors can explore Roisin’s Prestige colour palette and gain inspiration at the Prestige by Fleetwood Paints Interior Design Hub, where the collection will be on display throughout the event.
