Jo Linehan, host of the DFS Interiors Theatre

Journalist and sustainability advocate Jo Linehan is our expert host at the DFS Interiors Theatre this Autumn. Over the three days of the Show, she will be joined by an array of top industry experts, influential creatives and leading interior designers, including Pippa Jameson, bestselling author of The Sensory Home and leading creative director and interiors stylist.

Jo Linehan began her career in journalism as a Junior Editor at IMAGE Magazine in 2011. After five years at the leading fashion and lifestyle publication, she moved to New York to pursue a fashion styling and freelance writing career. On her return in 2016, she co-founded GAFF Interiors, Ireland’s premier online publication, for affordable interior inspiration and advice.

After working with some of the country’s leading fashion, home and lifestyle brands, Jo recognised the incredible waste and disparity the consumer industry perpetuated. Since 2019, Jo has worked extensively to support sustainable brands and initiatives, returning to gain her MSc in Management for Sustainable Development at Dublin City University and launching her independent podcast series, Futurist.

Today, she writes about sustainability for The Sunday Times, Irish Country Magazine and contributes to The Irish Times and Sunday Business Post.

Garden designer and TV personality Diarmuid Gavin has won numerous awards for his garden designs. Diarmuid has written several books and gardening columns for newspapers and magazines and in 2018 launched his Outer Spaces range with Dunnes Stores.

Veteran fashion designer Carolyn Donnelly has been creative director for Dunnes Stores since 2011 and has both a ladies wear fashion line, ‘Carolyn Donnelly The Edit,’ and homeware range ‘Eclectic’ which includes furniture, living room and bedroom accessories and dining.

Joanne Mooney is an Irish interiors & fashion social media content creator, artist, entrepreneur & all round creative.

Known for her creative colour & eclectic take on interior design. From dental nurse to business owner and content creator her path to a creative career was not linear as many aren’t.

Joanne hosted her first solo art exhibition in Hen’s Teeth showcasing her punch needle art. She runs regular punch needle workshops in Dublin and across the country. To inspire others to unleash their creativity.

Patricia Power in the DFS Interiors Theatre

Patricia Power is one of Ireland’s most renowned Quantity Surveyors. She has been a major feature on the much-loved TV Show RTE’s Room to Improve.

She was involved in the show for 5 out of the 10 series, and is best known for her straight-talking, no-nonsense approach, continually delivering projects on budget, whilst always considering and preserving the design aspirations by Dermot and the clients.

Hugh Wallace in the DFS Interiors Theatre

Hugh Wallace is a well-respected, award-winning architect and founding partner of Douglas Wallace Consultants (40 years ago). Hugh has a passion for creative design that engages with its audience to create conversation and comment. He believes that good architecture is essential to create social cohesion and enhance our enjoyment of our landscape and living environment whether in the city or countryside. It’s about creating a smile on our faces – creating a sense of place and belonging.

Hugh’s excitement at being involved as a judge in RTE’s Home of the Year is palpable as he opens the door to the most extraordinary homes in Ireland and seeing the creativity that abounds.  He is also the presenter of RTE’s The Great House Revival, his other passion, the restoration of our architectural heritage from the humble farm buildings to the great houses of Ireland.
