The PTSB Ideal Home Show takes place in the RDS Simmonscourt, Ballsbridge Dublin 4 on
Visitors are recommended to use public transport where possible.
Limited parking available at the RDS, €10 per car.
Car parking is also available at the Merrion Cricket Club, Anglesea Rd, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, at a reduced price of €10 for the day.
All parking spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability, so we recommend arriving early.
Sandymount DART station and the N11 QBC are only a few minutes’ walk from the RDS.

The RDS is situated in the Heart of Dublin in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
The PTSB Ideal Home Show is in the Simmonscourt Pavilion off Simmonscourt Road.
By Bus
The RDS is serviced by Bus Route 4, 7, 8, 27X, E1, E2, X1, X2.
By Dart
Visitors are advised to take the DART for easy access to the RDS. The Sandymount DART station is only a few minutes walk from the RDS Simmonscourt. View www.irishrail.ie for further details. Please use the DART to avoid traffic delays and parking issues.
By Car from City Centre
Outside Trinity College, take Nassau Street (N11) for about 150 metres then turn right following the signposts for the R118.
Follow the R118 (also locally known as Mount Street which becomes Merrion Road) for approximately 2km. Pass the RDS Main Hall on the right hand side and take the next turn right onto Simmonscourt Road. Entrance to Simmonscourt Pavilion is on the left.

Top Tips for your visit to the PTSB Ideal Home Show
- Plan your day before you arrive. Check the Theatre Timetables in advance and make a note of the talks, demonstrations and speakers you don’t want to miss.
- Before setting out to the show find the exhibitors relevant to your project. Search the Exhibitor Directory by Category to find the products, services and companies you want to see. Bring any photos, plans or drawings from the home project you’re working on.
- Use the Autumn 2026 Show Guide online to check the floorplan, exhibitors and show features. Printed Show Guides will also be available when you arrive.
- Bring your plans, photos and measurements. If you’re building, renovating, extending or redecorating, having these with you will help you get more relevant advice from exhibitors and specialists.
- Refresh your interiors and add the finishing touches. Explore the Home Interiors Fair for furniture, flooring, lighting and the latest interior trends, then browse the Home Accessories & Lifestyle area for accessories, homeware and those finishing touches that can transform a room.
- Get interiors inspiration at the DFS Interiors Theatre. Hosted by Jo Linehan, the theatre features talks and conversations with leading names in interiors and design, with plenty of ideas to take home.
