Building on the continued success of the Chef’s Live Theatre, Dunnes Stores will return this Autumn with a packed daily schedule of inspiring culinary demonstrations.
Previous line-ups have featured some of Ireland’s most celebrated food personalities, including Simply Better brand ambassador Neven Maguire, Dunnes Stores brand partner Donal Skehan, Celebrity Chef and TV & Radio contributor Brian McDermott and Dunnes Stores brand partner, author and nutritionist, Aileen Cox Blundell.
The refreshed format will offer a dynamic mix of seasonal cookery demonstrations and informative talks designed to educate, inspire and engage audiences throughout the day.

Award-winning garden designer Diarmuid Gavin shares his expert advice on caring for indoor plants and introduces his Outer Spaces range with Dunnes Stores.
From beginner-friendly tips (like starting with a Bromeliad) to avoiding common mistakes, Diarmuid covers it all — including watering advice, choosing the right plants for different rooms, and how to care for houseplants in low light or during winter months.

Carefully scheduled in alignment with the Chef’s Live Theatre timetable these sessions invited Ideal Home Show visitors to pause, engage and discover the stories behind some of Ireland’s most exceptional food producers.
Chef Brian Mc Dermott chatted with Simply Better Producers including Áine Clarke of Áine’s Handmade Chocolates, Kevin Sheridan of Sheridan’s Cheesemongers and Domenico Contino of Contino Foods who shared insights into their journey within the industry, their craft and expertise and their vision for the future.
Welcome Home With Dunnes Stores
At the Spring show Dunnes Stores invited Ideal Home Show visitors to step inside Welcome Home with Dunnes Stores, a beautifully curated space showcasing our designer homeware collections in an inspiring home setting.
Featuring exclusive ranges from renowned designers including William Costelloe, Helen James and Brand Ambassador Francis Brennan. The space was thoughtfully curated to reflect a variety of tastes and interior styles.
Adjacent to the home showcase, visitors had the opportunity to shop the featured collections, ensuring no one missed out on a special find or everyday essential.
A further highlight of the Dunnes Stores experience was the opportunity to meet and engage with the designers and brand ambassadors themselves, as they present their collections and share the inspiration behind their work.

Diarmuid Gavin Garden Festival
We were delighted to launch the Outer Spaces outdoor planting range for the very first time along with Diarmuid Gavins established interior pots and plants range. Diarmuid Gavin was on hand both in his marquee festival style set up along with appearing on the Chefs Live Theatre answering all the visitor’s gardening needs.
