For the weekend the Theatre will be home to an array of top industry experts, influential creatives and leading interior designers, Architect Dermot Bannon talking about home retrofits with Mitsubishi Electric; Professional Organiser, Hazel Burton, fresh from organising Vogue Willliams’ Home; RTE’s Fionnuala Moran talking about her own home journey; Architect and columnist, Denise O’Connor of Optimise Design; award-winning interiors architect Roisin Lafferty discussing all things paint for Fleetwood; and Claire Rushton of DFS telling us all about the newest Spring trends. Once again, this year, our DFS Interiors Theatre will be hosted by journalist and sustainability advocate, Jo Linehan.
The Theatre itself will take the form of an inspirational living room, curated by Caoimhe McGinley of The Big Hill House and featuring the new Amanda Holden sofa range, available exclusively at DFS. Decadent and luxurious, this new collection offers three designs that bring together dramatic silhouettes, statement prints, and sumptuous fabrics and colourways, to deliver a touch of glamour to any living room - echoing Caoimhe’s own ‘Fancy Friday’ series in which she brings glamour and fun to the everyday.
A packed programme of talks will explore the biggest interior trends shaping our homes right now, experts giving their top tips whenever you are renovating, moving or staging a property, as well as what best to avoid. There will be support for your decluttering projects, bathroom makeovers and expert help on how to choose the right paint. So, notebooks at the ready – the DFS Interiors Theatre will be a must-visit destination for inspiration.
